This brake housing assembly was fabricated by stamping several components from C1008-1010 steel and assembling these parts with other machined parts by assembly with a robotic welder. The brake housing assembly had a material thickness of .120″. We finished the housing by zinc plating with yellow trichromate, and then the parts were layer packed and delivered to the customer’s facility in Ohio. Working from customer-supplied drawings, we kept our manufacturing tolerances to ±.010″.

Our extensive experience in metal stamping and our ISO 9001 certification enable us to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients. Please contact Herd Manufacturing to learn more about our company.
